Welcome to The Oval Primary & Nursery School

The Oval School is a successful and constantly improving two form entry school, with over 450 pupils from a range of backgrounds. We are an inclusive school, we seek to provide the best possible opportunities for all pupils.

We follow the 'International Primary Curriculum', a creative and thinking skills approach to topic work, which is taught in schools across the globe.

Pupils here benefit from: Mandarin Chinese, French and Spanish classes, yoga, judo and peer massage within the school day. We have Quality Mark status 2004 and 2006 for our school standards in English and Maths work and a Civic Society award for our school's environmental work, particularly on the school allotment.

We have joined the Becta Next generation learning charter to show our commitment to ICT at our school.
