SATs news

As you are aware you now only have a few weeks until you SATs tests which will start the week beginning May 14th, therefore, please revise over any topics that you find difficult and practise times tables daily. Parents could you please ensure that your child is revising each evening. Mrs Chahal will give each class a topic to revise each night from their revision books.

Easter Club

Myself and Miss Shaw would like to say a big thank you to all of the children who attended the Easter Revision Club. We all had a fantastic time working on problem solving activities and the children have even created some numeracy quizes to test their peers in class.

Important Messages

P.E is every Monday, so please ensure that your P.E kit is in school.

Homework is given out on a Monday and must be returned on a Friday. Children will recieve spellings, literacy and numeracy homework each week. You must ensure that it is handed in on time so that it can be marked and handed back to you by Monday. Please click here each week to visit our homework page, which allows you to view and download work.

Reading diaries must be signed at least three times a week.

Trips

We will be visiting Bell Heath on Friday 24th February to . We will leave school at 8.30am and will return at 4.30pm.

Topic

We will be spending time on the back grass as part of our 'Eco Project' during Topic lessons. Children must ensure that they have a pair of wellies or old trainers left in school so they can work in the eco garden. Also, we are still in need of 2 litre plastic bottles for our eco greenhouse, so please remember to send bottles into school.
