Eco School
Friday 12th June was Green day at The Oval Primary school!
Everyone had lots of fun learning about how we can save our planet if we work together.
We did lots of activities including:
We worked on our school allotment.
We pledged to improve the survival of the planet
by promising to change one thing each.
We designed an eco super hero who
would save the planet with their eco powers!
We made models out of junk. These included
pieces of art and musical instruments.
Our eco school council met a local park ranger
called John Lawler who advised them on how to
make areas on our site more habitable for animals.
All children and staff wore green clothes, some
even had green hair!!!
We raised money on the day for school fund,
a local dog's charity and support for the survival
of bees.
