Welcome to The Oval Primary & Nursery School

Working in the allotment

The Oval School is a successful and constantly improving school. We are an inclusive school, with over 550 pupils from a wide range of backgrounds.

We follow a Creative Curriculum, this year teaching British history and geography in a variety of exciting and creative ways. We also look forward to our Olympics topic in the Summer term. You can see some of the wonderful work and activities we have done in our class pages and Gallery sections.

Pupils here benefit form recorder, clarinet and brass lessons along with cooking lessons in our new state of the art cooking lab with our designated cooking teacher Mrs. Paton-Devine. We also enjoy learning about growing at our allotment and using what we have grown to cook!

We are also very proud of our Food For Life work in which we achieved a Gold award. Mrs Chahal was recently invited to Clarence House share our success and achievements with HRH Prince Charles. You can find out more about FFL in our News and Events pages and also on our cooking and allotment pages.

We hope that our website gives you an insight into all of the fantastic things we do at our school, so a very warm welcome to everyone from all staff and Pupils at The Oval Primary School.
